This lesson is the third in our ten-part series on The Tudors.

Here, the six wives of Henry VIII are given their own spotlight away from their husband as we look at each of their lives in turn. Your child will learn key facts about the wives and complete a chart of each of them, showing how long they were queen for and what happened to them.

They will answer knowledge and understanding questions and complete both a letter and a newspaper article writing activity to describe what the wives were like, adding details they’ve learned from the lessons. They’ll also complete research work and draw a cartoon strip about the wives, as well as creating a poster.
